ONA. WV-The Ona Speedway is set to host its historic first ever all star race this Saturday, May 24th with the Brandon Terry Paving Memorial Day All Star Bash.  This will be one of the most unique, most fun, and most fan friendly events of the season.  It will also be the first time in many years that the speedway has been open on Memorial Day weekend, setting up for a big holiday weekend race.

Each division will have something special and unique about their race format.  Below is the breakdown for each division:

All Seasons Powersports Late Models & Three Sixteen Motorsports INEX Legends Cars
The fast qualifier can choose a 6 invert or will draw for a feature invert that includes a 2, 4 and 6. If the fast qualifier chooses a 6 invert, they will receive a $25 bonus for each position gained past the invert, for a max bonus of $125 if they come from the 6 invert to win.

LG Pressure Washing Modifieds & Eco-First Street Stocks
Both the LG Pressure Washing Modifieds & Eco-First Street Stocks will run heat races. Each heat race will pay $75 to win. Heat races will start by pill draw (done on MyRacePass) that will be done when the driver enters for the night. The top two finishers in each heat race will then re-draw for feature starting positions 1-4 while the rest of the heat race finishing order will determine the feature starting lineup.

Contempo Trophy & Awards UCAR’s
The Contempo Trophy & Awards UCAR’s will run double features. The first feature will be 15 laps and start heads up from qualifying. The winner of the first feature will then draw for a 4, 6, 8 or 10 invert for the starting lineup for the second feature which will be 25 laps (cars must finish on the lead lap to be in the invert). Both races will be full points races. The first feature will not have the competition caution rule in place while the second feature will.

Brody Nash Century 21 Crown Vics
The Brody Nash Century 21 Crown Vics will start their feature with a complete field invert based on current track points. Drivers who missed the May 10th race will start behind the drivers who raced on May 10th. If points leader John Laforest can overcome the invert and win the race, he will earn a $100 bonus.

Crazy Compacts
The class will have a halfway competition caution (regardless if there is a caution before halfway), and a fan will draw to either keep the running order the same or do a complete field invert among lead lap cars for the second half. The class will pay an extra $50 bonus to win.

Baby Grand Stock Cars
The Baby Grand Stock Cars will also be in attendance for what will be another great show with them. This will be their first of two races at Ona.

Juice Boxes
Will have a regular show with two races.

Pit gates will open at 1:00 pm with general admission gates opening at 5:00 pm.  Racing will start at 6:30 pm.  General admission is only $15 for ages 13 and up and FREE for ages 12 and under.  All access pit passes are $35 for ages 13 and up and FREE for ages 12 and under.
