ONA, WV-Following a rainout on May 16th, the Ona Speedway is ready to get back to action on Saturday, May 30th for the School’s Out Showdown.  The School’s Out Showdown is a celebration of the first week of summer break with a full throttle Saturday night of short track racing the way it’s supposed to be.

The night will be headlined by the first of two appearances this season for the Pro Grand National Series Baby Grand Stock Cars.  Baby Grand Stock Cars are lightweight, lightning fast 2/3 scale stock cars.  These cars always put on exciting racing action at Ona Speedway.  Last season Indiana veteran driver Danny Trent scored the feature win in both of the series races at Ona Speedway and will be looking to continue his winning streak on May 30th.

In addition to the Baby Grand Stock Cars, the Mountain Linked Modifieds, Skeens Towing & Recovery Street Stocks, Contempo Trophy & Awards UCAR’s, Legends Depot INEX Legends Cars, Brody Nash Century 21 Crown Vics, Complete Temperature Control Crazy Compacts, and Keaton’s Collision Center Juice Boxes will all be in action.  The All Seasons Powersports Late Models have a scheduled off race for May 30th.

Pit gates will open at 1:30 pm while general admission gates will open at 5:00 pm.  Racing will start at 6:30 pm.
