ONA, WV-The Ona Speedway will host the Great Lakes Truck Tour for their only trip to Ona this season this Saturday, June 13th for the Ona Truck Bash. In addition to the Trucks, the All Seasons Powersports Late Models, Skeen’s Towing & Recovery Street Stocks, Contempo Trophy & Awards UCAR’s, Legends Depot INEX Legends Cars, Brody Nash Century 21 Crown Vics, Complete Temperature Control Crazy Compacts, and Keaton’s Collision Center Juice Boxes will all be in action for an ultra-exciting night of racing. The Mountain Linked Modifieds will be off for this race.
The Great Lakes Truck Tour has been a fixture at Ona Speedway, dating back to when the series was the ARCA Truck Series and the CRS Super Trucks. The Great Lakes Truck Tour brings exciting, door-to-door action with the tough trucks that the fans love watching. The last time the series was here back in October of 2025, Jesse Fischbach held off Brad Copen in a thrilling race to take the win and break a winning streak that Copen had going at Ona. With rainouts this season, that race was ironically the last race the series has had as this Saturday’s race at Ona will open up the 2026 campaign for the series.
There are lots of storylines heading into Saturday as well for the Ona Speedway divisions that will be in action. With an off week back on May 30th, this will be the first time the Late Models will hit the track since May 2nd as those drivers will be hungry to get back on track and try to get a win. The Street Stock, UCAR, and Legends Car divisions are wide open this year with two different winners in two races as we will see if we get a third different winner in those divisions on Saturday. Drivers in the Crown Vic division will be trying to beat Ryan Tamburro and drivers in the Crazy Compact division will be trying to beat Stacie Watson as both of those drivers have swept the opening two races in those divisions.
Pit gates will open Saturday at 1:30 pm while general admission gates will open at 5:00 pm. Racing will start at 6:30 pm. General admission is only $15 for ages 13 and up and FREE for ages 12 and under. All access pit passes are $35 for ages 13 and up and FREE for ages 12 and under.
The track will also host an open Test N’ Tune Night on Friday, June 12th from 5:30-8:30 pm as drivers will get a chance to tune cars in before Saturday’s race. The cost is $25 for race car and driver and $10 for a pit pass.
