Kids usually end up walking away with as much, if not more candy from Finish Line Concrete Trick or Treat Night as they do from their neighborhood trick or treat. All race teams and encouraged to bring candy and participate in this fan friendly event. This is a can’t miss event for any race fan with a child.
Everyone in attendance is also encouraged to wear a Halloween costume. At the end of the trick or treat, we will have a Halloween Costume Contest where first, second, and third place trophies will be given away for both kids and adults. If past trends continue, which they most likely will, there will no doubt be some awesome Halloween costumes at the track on Saturday.
In addition to all of the Halloween festivities, race fans will be treated to a spectacular night of racing that will see all 9 Ona Speedway divisions compete. Each division will run a 20 lap feature only and pill draw will determine the starting lineup for each feature, setting the stage for an incredible night of racing. This is the only single night show in 2022 that will see all divisions compete in what is a great value for the race fans.
With points over with and the next race in April 2023, winning will be at the forefront of all of the drivers minds on Saturday. For drivers who have not won a race this season, Saturday is the final opportunity to reach victory lane in 2022. No driver is feeling that pressure more than 11 time track champion Keith Watson who has a 16 year winning streak in jeopardy of being snapped unless he wins on Saturday. For all drivers, a win on Saturday is a win that will be savored for the entire offseason and bring a lot of momentum heading into 2023.
