ONA, WV-The Ona Speedway will be back in action for the first of three straight weeks of exciting racing starting this Saturday, June 15th with Express Employment Professionals Kids Night featuring the zMax Pro Grand National Baby Grand Stock Cars.  If a driver races in all three of the upcoming races on June 15th, 22nd, and 29th they will have their name put into a hat that will be drawn out of on June 29th for a $500 cash bonus.

Express Employment Professionals Kids Night is always a favorite among the fans and race teams.  Inflatables with a jump house and a slide will be setup in the midway area for kids to enjoy throughout the evening.  The first 100 kids in attendance will also receive a FREE Star Wars Toy.  There will also be other giveaways for the kids during intermission.  As part of the rescheduled Star Wars Night activities, kids are also encouraged to wear their Star Wars gear for a Star Wars costume contest in which the winner will receive a trophy.

The zMax Pro Grand National Baby Grand Stock Cars will be making their third ever appearance to Ona Speedway.  The series has put on some thrilling races in the past at the speedway as the cars are fast and the action is close.  The series is coming off of their first race of the season at the legendary Hickory Motor Speedway in Newton, NC.  The tours previous two races at Ona were won by Jake Tretow (2023) and Danny Trent (2022).  The series will run an exciting 25 lap feature on Saturday.

Ona Speedway’s exciting All Seasons Powersports Late Models, LG Pressure Washing Modifieds, Haunted Majestic Street Stocks, Contempo Trophy & Awards UCAR’s, Three Sixteen Motorsports INEX Legends Car Pro, Three Sixteen Motorsports INEX Legends Car Semi-Pro, and Brody Nash Century 21 Crown Vics will all be racing feature races as well.  The remaining races during the month of June will be a crucial stretch in the battle for the track championships at Ona Speedway.  The closest track championship battle is in the LG Pressure Washing Modifieds where Andy Booten holds a slim one point lead over Jeremy Cooper and Wes Smith with Rob Dunlap only 6 points behind and Danny Vickers only 8 points behind.

Pit gates will open at 1:00 pm on Saturday while general admission gates will open at 5:00 pm.  Racing will begin at 6:30 pm.  General admission is only $15 for ages 13 and up and FREE for ages 12 and under.  All access pit passes are $35 for ages 13 and up and FREE for ages 12 and under.  All ticket and concession sales are cash only.
