ONA, WV-The Ona Speedway will roar to life this Saturday, April 17th as the speedway will host the first of two preseason Test N’ Tune days in anticipation for the opening weekend on April 30th-May 1st.
The preseason Test N’ Tune days provide valuable on track time for race teams. With so many drivers debuting new cars and switching classes, this years preseason Test N’ Tunes are at even more importance. Teams will test setups, identify any potential mechanical issues before they get into race conditions, and drivers will knock the rust off after a long six month offseason.
While practice will be the only order of the day, it still creates an opportunity for race fans to come out and have an enjoyable afternoon at the track. With a more laid back atmosphere and heavily discounted pit pass price, this is the perfect opportunity for race fans to come in the pit area and get an up close look at the cars and get to meet the drivers. A strong turnout of race cars is expected to entertain fans all day with on track action.
The Test N’ Tune will run from noon until 5:00 pm on Saturday. Pit passes are only $5 while the cost to practice a race car is only $20. For more information visit www.onaspeedway.com.
