ONA, WV-The Ona Speedway is set for it’s first of two big events to end the 2024 season.  The first event will be Carpenter’s Repair Trick or Treat Night and the Nitro Construction Services Triple Crown set for this Saturday, October 19th.  The event will bring together some big time, high stakes races as well as the always fan favorite trick or treat on track.

Carpenter’s Repair Trick or Treat Night has long been considered one of the best trick or treats in the region.  During intermission, the cars will all be brought on the fronstretch and fans will be permitted on track for trick or treat with the drivers.  The Ona Speedway drivers always go all out to make this a special night for the kids.  The speedway will also be having a Halloween Costume Contest where the adult and kids winner will receive a trophy.

Lots of money will be on the line with the Nitro Construction Services Triple Crown.  The All Season’s Powersports Late Models, LG Pressure Washing Modifieds, and Haunted Majestic Street Stocks will all do battle for a $1,000 winner’s prize!  Courtesy of C&M Air Compressor Repair and 3 Vets Heating & Cooling, the Contempo Trophy & Awards UCAR’s will also be doing battle for $1,000 winners prize.  The extra money is sure to make for some thrilling racing in these classes.  Late Model drivers will be all the more motivated to take the big win as this will be the final race of the season for the class.

Three Sixteen Motorsports INEX Legends Cars will also be in action as well as the return of the Baby Grand Stock Cars.  The Baby Grand Stock Cars always put on high speed, exciting racing at Ona.  This will be the season ending race for the Baby Grand Stock Cars as well.  Two of the Baby Grand Stock Cars are set to bring Legends Cars as well to help add to what will already be an exciting Legends Car race!

The Brody Nash Century 21 Crown Vics will also be in action in what will be their final tune-up before next Saturday’s $5,000 to win (with 40 or more cars) Haunted Majestic Halloween Bash.  Crown Vic drivers will all be chasing after the big win to carry momentum into the big race next Saturday.

The speedway will be utilizing earlier start times on Saturday as racing will start at 5:00 pm.  Pit gates will open at 11:30 am with general admission gates opening at 3:00 pm.  General admission is only $15 for ages 13 and up and FREE for ages 12 and under.  All access pit passes are $35 for ages 13 and up and FREE for ages 12 and under.
