ONA, WV-The Ona Speedway will be back in action this Saturday, September 12th for a huge night of racing with RECO Products Kid’s Night highlighted by the Super Cup Stock Car Series running the Putnam County Bank Twin 40’s!

The Super Cup Stock Car Series will finally make their 2026 appearance at Ona Speedway after their originally scheduled August 1st race was postponed due to the weather forecast. The Super Cup Stock Car Series races full bodied stock cars with bodies that resemble the Gen 4 NASCAR Stock Cars. These cars bring back the look and feel of old school stock car racing and fans will get two chances to see them in action with the Putnam County Bank Twin 40’s.

With it being RECO Products Kid’s Night, there will also be a large inflatable obstacle course setup in the general admission area that will be FREE for the kids to enjoy. Kids ages 12 and under also get into both the general admission and pit areas FREE making Saturday a great night to bring the entire family to the speedway.

While the Super Cup Stock Cars will highlight the night, there is also a ton on the line for the Ona Speedway weekly divisions as Saturday will be the next to last points race of the season before the Season Championships on September 26th. With the points battles tight in nearly every division, every position on the track is going to matter in a big way Saturday night.

The closest points battle heading into Saturday is in the All Season’s Powersports Late Models where defending track champion Jake Keaton holds just a 4 point lead over Carson Lucas. The Mountain Linked Modifieds are also tight with Jeremy Cooper holding a 6 point lead over Andy Booten while Cory Balser sits just 14 points out of the lead.

Rick Watson leads Brenton Beall by 9 points in the Skeens Towing & Recovery Street Stocks while Adam Jeffrey holds a 12 point advantage over Jay Dunlap in the Legends Depot INEX Legends Cars. The Brody Nash Century 21 Crown Vics has Dusty Harding leading John Laforest by just 8 points with Andrew Wireman only 14 points out of the lead.

The Complete Temperature Control Crazy Compacts also have a great championship battle setup with Stacie Watson holding a 9 point lead while Andy Ennis and Reuben Fetty are tied for second. With Ona’s points system paying 25 points to win, 23 for second, 22 for third and dropping by just one point for each position after that, there is still a lot that can change over the final two points races.

Saturday’s racing card will feature the Super Cup Stock Car Series, All Season’s Powersports Late Models, Mountain Linked Modifieds, Skeens Towing & Recovery Street Stocks, Legends Depot INEX Legends Cars, Brody Nash Century 21 Crown Vics, Complete Temperature Control Crazy Compacts and Keaton’s Collision Center Juice Boxes.

Pit gates will open at 1:00 pm while general admission gates will open at 5:00 pm. The Keaton’s Collision Center Juice Boxes will kick off the racing action at 6:15 pm with the regular features starting at 6:30 pm.
