ONA, WV-The Ona Speedway will be back in action for the first of three huge non-points races to end the season starting with Nitro Construction Services Trick or Treat Night on Saturday, October 18th.  For many of the Ona Speedway race teams, this is their favorite race night of the season as during the intermission the cars will be pulled onto the speedway and fans will get to come on the race track for trick or treat with the drivers.  To make the event even better for the kids, Stitch and Hello Kitty will be in the general admission area for a meet and greet from 4:30 pm-6:30 pm.

In addition to all of the festivities for the kids, the race fans in attendance will be treated to a spectacular evening of racing.  The racing program will be headlined by the championship race for the Great Lakes Truck Tour.  The Great Lakes Truck Tour, formerly known as the CRS Super Trucks, has been a staple at Ona Speedway for many years.  The series always puts on exciting racing action.  A good field of trucks is expected for the series final race of the season.  All of the drivers will be chasing Brad Copen who won the last time the tour was at Ona.

The October 18th races will be huge for the LG Pressure Washing Modified and Brody Nash Century 21 Crown Vic drivers.  This will be the final tune-up for those divisions before their headline events at the Tom Whiteside Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Mountaineer 100 presented by Complete Temperature Control on Saturday, October 25th that will see the Modifieds pay $3,000 to win and the Crown Vics pay $1,500 to win.  A win on October 18th can carry huge momentum heading into the Mountaineer the following week.

The All Season’s Powersports Late Models, Eco First Street Stocks, Three Sixteen Motorsports INEX Legends Cars, and Contempo Trophy & Awards UCAR’s will also be in racing action with each of those classes also having races at the Mountaineer and/or the Marty Powers Memorial on November 8th.  For the Crazy Compact and Keaton’s Collision Center Juice Boxes, October 18th will be their final race of the season with those drivers looking to claim their final checkered flag of the season.

We will be utilizing earlier start times on October 18th as pit gates will open at 11:30 am, general admission gates will open at 3:00 pm, and racing will start at 5:00 pm.  General admission is only $15 for ages 13 and up and FREE for ages 12 and under.  All access pit passes are $35 for ages 13 and up and FREE for ages 12 and under.
