ONA, WV-The Ona Speedway has made the difficult decision to postpone the Yes Chevrolet/Yes Ford Cabin Fever Bash set for this Friday and Saturday, April 29th-30th, due to the poor weather forecast.
We did not want to do the event unless we could get both days of racing in so all classes get to race. The forecast is just calling for a lot of rain Friday night into Saturday which will likely make grounds too wet to race on Saturday.
The Ona Speedway will now open the season on Saturday, May 14th with the 2nd Annual Freedom Used Autos Fly By 40 featuring the Vore’s Compact Touring Series. In addition to the Vore’s Series, McCam Builders Modifieds, Greg Chandler Frame & Body Sport Mods, Bumper Pounding Street Stocks, Southern Ohio Speed Legends Car Pro, and Geer Brother’s Body Shop INEX Legends Car Semi-Pro will also be in action. Racing will start at 6:00 pm. The track will also be open for practice from 4:00 pm until dark on Friday, May 13th.
The Yes Chevrolet/Yes Ford Cabin Fever Bash will be rescheduled at a later date.
