ONA, WV-Mother nature didn’t play kind in April, but the Ona Speedway is set for attempt #3 at the Yes Chevrolet/Yes Ford on Saturday, May 13th. Track officials, race teams and fans are all highly anticipating the start of the 60th anniversary season.
While unfortunately Ona Speedway and Midwest Modifieds Tour officials were unable to find a date to reschedule the Midwest Modifieds Tour, the Yes Chevrolet/Yes Ford Cabin Fever Bash will feature an exciting, 7 division racing program with all of Ona Speedway’s classes. Fans in attendance will get to see feature races for the All Season’s Powersports Late Models, Patriot Meat Processing Modifieds, Haunted Majestic Street Stocks, INEX Legends Car Pro, INEX Legends Car Semi-Pro, Contempo Trophy & Awards UCAR’s and Gumbo Stop Café Crazy Compacts.
The Yes Chevrolet/Yes Ford Cabin Fever Bash has turned into one of the most prestigious events at Ona Speedway. As the annual season opening event, it’s a race that all drivers want to win to start their season strong. The race has also become known as an event that produces first time Ona Speedway winners. In an interesting statistic, every Yes Chevrolet/Yes Ford Cabin Fever Bash has produced a first time Ona Speedway winner.
Pit gates will open at 1:00 pm on May 13th with general admission gates opening at 4:30 pm and racing at 6:30 pm. General admission for this action packed show is only $15 for ages 13 and up and free for ages 12 and under. All access pit passes are $35 for ages 13 and up and free for ages 12 and under.
